Basic situation of the project: In December 2021, "CHTC KINWIN(NANJING) Automobile Co., Ltd. annual output of 3,500 units of special-purpose vehicles project" completed the filing of investment projects in Lishui District Administrative Approval Bureau (Li Approval and Investment Preparation [2021] No. 669). The environmental impact report of the project was approved by Nanjing Eco-Environmental Bureau on December 15, 2022 (No. 20 of Ning Huanjian [2022]) regarding the environmental impact report of 3,500 units of special-purpose vehicle project of CHTC KINWIN(NANJING) Automobile Co.

Designed capacity: annual output of 3,500 units of electric special-purpose vehicles.


Actual construction situation: using the plant and equipment already built by Hengtian Leader Rui in the early stage, adding part of the supporting production facilities for special-purpose vehicles, the main production units after completion include joint plant for special-purpose vehicles (self-manufactured parts processing, welding, painting, general assembly), complete inspection workshop, and all kinds of public and auxiliary facilities supporting the project. The construction of the main project and environmental protection facilities has been completed, and all pollution control measures have been put in place in accordance with the requirements of the EIA.


Starting time of trial production: October 17, 2023


Environmental protection measures adopted:


(i) Wastewater


Wastewater of this project includes production wastewater and domestic sewage, of which production wastewater includes process wastewater and public works drainage. A sewage treatment station with a treatment capacity of 350m3/d has been built, and the production and domestic wastewater in the plant is pre-treated to meet the standard and then the wastewater is connected to Qinhuai Sewage Treatment Plant for centralized treatment. The whole plant has laid rainwater and sewage pipe network in accordance with the principle of rainwater and sewage diversion, which can meet the requirements of "clean and sewage diversion, rainwater and sewage diversion".


(II) Exhaust gas


The process exhaust gas of this project is mainly metal dust and welding fume generated from self-made parts processing and welding assembly area; electrophoresis exhaust gas, paint spraying exhaust gas and drying exhaust gas in painting workshop; and paint refilling exhaust gas in finish inspection workshop. In addition, the exhaust gas of public and auxiliary engineering also includes the natural gas combustion exhaust gas of incineration and heating furnace, the exhaust gas of hazardous waste temporary storage and the exhaust gas of sewage station.


There are 7 sets of cartridge-type dust removal equipments set up in the self-made parts processing and welding assembly area, which are discharged through 2#~4# exhaust pipe; 1 set of activated carbon filtration device for electrophoresis exhaust gas of the painting workshop, 2 sets of DPA paint spray filters + 2 sets of zeolite rotor concentration devices + 1 set of RTO incinerator for spraying exhaust gas, 1 set of RTO incinerator for drying exhaust gas, and 2 sets of cartridge-type dust removal equipments for putty grinding dust, which are respectively discharged through 1#, 5#~7#, 12# and 12# exhaust pipe. #, 5~7#, 12# exhaust discharge; complete inspection workshop point repair room and spraying and drying room each supporting a set of filter cotton + activated carbon filtering device, through the 8 # ~ 10 # exhaust discharge; hazardous waste temporary storage set up a set of activated carbon filtering device, through the 11 # exhaust discharge; wastewater station supporting a set of biological deodorization device, through the 13 # exhaust discharge.


(III) Noise


New noise sources for self-made parts processing and welding area machining noisy equipment, as well as various types of fans, pumps, air compressors and other public supporting equipment generated by mechanical or aerodynamic noise, first of all, low-noise equipment, and secondly, take the building sound insulation, reasonable layout, enhance greening and other measures to reduce the impact of noise.


(D) Solid waste


1、General industrial solid waste: waste metal materials, packaging waste, welding slag, waste dust, waste sandpaper, waste RO film entrusted to Nanjing Cai Si Renewable Resources Limited recycling or proper disposal.

All solid wastes in the plant are disposed of safely and properly, with "zero discharge".
