Meanwhile, the warranty period of the key components such as the power battery, the drive motor, the motor controller and the vehicle controller is 5 years or 200,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). The product quality problems occurring during the warranty period of our pure electric vehicles will be repaired for free, and we will provide customers with quality-assured spare parts and consulting services. Product quality problems occurring beyond the warranty period, we will provide the corresponding paid maintenance services, while ensuring the quality of spare parts to provide free technical support.     As temperatures rise, air conditioners are about to enter their peak season. To protect the normal use of your air conditioning, the need for filter cleaning, condenser maintenance and other precautions.

    Air conditioning filter cleaning:

    1. Open the return air grille to pull out the filter. Then, put the filter in warm water mixed with neutral detergent to clean, rinse it with clean water and dry it completely. Finally, install the filter back to the return air grille.

    2. The air conditioning filter should be cleaned regularly (at least once every six months) to ensure that the air conditioning of the wind, cold and cleanliness of the air inside the car.

    Air conditioning condenser maintenance:

    1. Check and clean the surface of the core body and clean the dirt inside the condenser. Use no more than 0.2MP (gauge pressure) of high-pressure water to flush. If there is a serious clogging, you need to scrape off the oil and dirt and then add neutral detergent to clean it, and at the same time, pay attention to condensate the wind and the electrical connection part of the condenser and the electrical connection part of the condenser to do a good job of protecting it with a plastic sheet.

    Precautions for the use of air-conditioning:

    1.     2. When the air cooling stops, do not manually start the air conditioning cooling. Please wait for 1 minute before the compressor can work again.

    3. During the operation of the air conditioner in summer, please set the temperature range at 24~26℃, and keep at least 7-8 air vents in the open state. Otherwise, the evaporator is easy to frost or produce condensation due to the exhaust of cold air.

    4. If the air-conditioning panel emits a "drip" sound, please observe the panel display fault symbols, and stop using the air-conditioning, timely contact the local service network for overhaul.

    5. Since the air conditioner has part of the high-voltage circuit, please choose the company's recognized service outlets for repair, do not repair the air conditioner privately.

    Summer is coming, extreme weather like thunderstorms, high temperatures, typhoons occurs frequently, bringing many risks to the safe operation of new energy vehicles, and a greater impact to the performance of new energy vehicles. To remind the users to use the vehicle more conveniently and, we make these precautions to be aware of.

    High temperature:

    Driving:

    1. Regularly check whether the motor cooling fan, cooling water pump, water circuit, battery water-cooled unit is normal. Also, always check whether the coolant is enough, and fill the special antifreeze.

    2. Lightly step on the gas and brake during the starting and driving process of the pure electric bus, which can reduce power consumption, increase comfort and slow down the temperature rise of the power battery.

    3. The air conditioner used in pure electric buses is fully electric, so that the air conditioner temperature should not be set too low.

    Storage: 

    The vehicle should avoid direct sun exposure, sun exposure. Otherwise, the vehicle heat load will increase dramatically and the efficiency of the battery, motor and air-conditioning equipment will decrease, which will finally shorten the service life.

    Charging:

    1. High temperature charging during the day should be avoided as much as possible to prevent high temperature of the battery and slow charging problems.

    2. In hot weather, charger and power battery temperature check should be more frequent.

    Rainy season:

     Driving:

    1. When driving in water, if the depth of water on the road is not more than 300mm, please control the speed not more than 10km/h.  Meanwhile, paying attention to the instrument alarm and drive carefully to ensure safety.

    2. When driving in water, if the depth of water on the road is greater than 300mm, the vehicle must change lanes or suspend transportation. Pay attention to the meter alarm, drive carefully to ensure safety.

    3. Temporary parking in rainstorms, pay attention not to park under trees, billboards and unfinished bring great security risks.

    4. If the vehicle suddenly stalls in a deeper section of water, please deal with it in the following order: evacuate passengers, turn off the key and the main switch, tow the vehicle out, check the vehicle in accordance with the "Excessive water, soak the water discharge program", and then operate it again after there is no abnormality.

    Storage: 

    The vehicle should be parked in an open area with good drainage, and the depth of water in extreme cases should not exceed 250mm.

    Charging: 

    Please observe the charging gun and charging base to ensure that it must be kept dry, no ablation phenomenon, prohibit open-air charging on rainy days.

    Typhoon weather:

    Driving: 

    If the vehicle involved in deeper water sections suddenly stalled, do not try to start again strongly, so as not to bring secondary accidents. If you are trapped in deep water, please do not panic and handle the situation in an orderly manner:  evacuate passengers, turn off the key and main switch, tow the vehicle out, check the vehicle in accordance with the "Excessive Water Involvement and Soakage Exhaustion Program", and then operate the vehicle again after there is no abnormality.

    Parking: 

    Please park the vehicle on an open road or indoor, turn off the low-voltage battery handle switch, and close the doors and windows.

    Charging: 

    Charging is prohibited in abnormal weather such as thunderstorms and typhoons.

    Long-term storage precautions:

    1. The length of the shelf in more than 6 months vehicles, the battery needs to be removed from the vehicle (pay attention to adjust the battery SOC value in the range of 40% ~ 70%, is strictly prohibited to use non-normal ways to consume the battery power) and properly stored. Please correspond to the battery manufacturer to check the battery voltage every month, every 3 months for maintenance.

    2. Vehicles that have been on hold for less than 6 months are subject to the following requirements.

    Status: Before shelving, confirm that there is no abnormal battery alarms, low voltage power down after the vehicle high-voltage system contactors in the disconnected state and adjust the battery SOC value in the 40% ~ 70% range (prohibited the use of non-normal ways to consume the battery power). Otherwise it will easily cause the whole vehicle on fire, injuries and other hazards.

    Monthly inspection: Vehicles should be powered up every month to check the status of vehicle instrumentation, no power battery related alarms are required. If there are any power battery related alarms, please contact Kinwin after-sales service immediately to deal with it.

    Battery equalization maintenance: Every 3 months, the battery should be equalized and maintained. During the period of battery equalization maintenance, there should be a special person to monitor and care for the battery, please contact Kinwin after-sales service immediately to deal with any possible abnormalities.

    Remarks: Different manufacturers have different operational requirements for equalization maintenance of battery products, please consult your local after-sales service manager.

    Storage site requirements:

    Storage site: The parking lot should be far away from gas stations, filling stations, hydrogen refueling stations, high-voltage power grids, heat sources, humidity, corrosive gases, and areas where flammable and explosive substances are piled up. It should be well ventilated, well drained, and free of stagnant water, keep the vehicles should away from environments where debris, such as leaves, twigs, and wadding, falls or piles up. Parking lot should have video surveillance devices and personnel regular patrol mechanism. It should be far away from residential areas or crowded areas. If the power battery is stored separately, the storage warehouse should be in line with national environmental protection, fire and other relevant regulations, the power battery should be stored on a flat insulated ground, not stacked, inverted or lying. And not subject to sunlight, rain, snow cover, and avoid contact with any liquid, conductive and harmful substances, should be kept more than 5 meters away from other items.

    Storage environment temperature requirements: -35 ° C ~ +45 ° C.

    Fire fighting facilities: the parking lot should be equipped with complete fire fighting facilities, fire extinguishing devices should ensure that they can be taken with the use of adequate fire fighting water.

    Vehicle Parking: Vehicles should be parked with sufficient safety spacing (accoring to “GB50067-2014 Automobile Garage, Garage, Parking Lot Design Fire Code”, the vehicle spacing should be no less than 1.5 meters). Long-term shelved vehicles, vehicles to be scrapped and faulty maintenance vehicles should be parked in a separate area, away from the normal use of vehicles.

    Vehicle inspection requirements before resuming operation:

    Before the vehicle battery system is fully inspected, the vehicle should not be powered up for operation. The inspection requirements are as follows.

    Power battery status check: Before vehicle operation, check the status of battery box, high voltage box and cooling system. Please contact the after-sales service manager for the method and content of the check.

    Vehicle battery alarm information check:  Power on the vehicle to check the instrumentation to check whetere there is no power battery related alarms.  If there are power battery related alarms, you must immediately contact the after-sales service manager to deal with.

    Carry out a battery equalization maintenance:  Before vehicle operation, carry out an equalization according to the battery equalization method of each manufacturer's product, and carry out a full charge (calibration SOC).

    Risks that may arise from failure to operate as required:

    1. Failure to follow the requirements for vehicle storage or battery storage may result in water ingress into the vehicle or power battery, battery leakage, short circuit, smoke, fire, injury or death, and other safety accidents.Vehicle battery SOC value of more than 70% of the long-term shelving, battery capacity decay fast, the battery smoke, fire risk increases. Vehicle battery SOC value of less than 40% when the long-term shelving, the battery over discharge risk increases, to be scrapped vehicle battery SOC value is high, the safety risk becomes greater, in extreme cases may lead to the battery

    2. Failure to deal with power battery failure alarms in a timely manner and continuing use the battery may lead to damage, short circuit, smoke, fire, injuries and other safety accidents.

    3. Not according to the requirements of balanced maintenance, battery SOC value accuracy deterioration, and may lead to vehicle breakdown.

    Changes in vehicle performance in winter:

    1. The usage of electric defroster, the switching on of battery self-heating and the switching on of air-conditioner heating will lead to a reduction in the vehicle's range or an increase in power consumption for the same mileage.

    2. Low battery temperature will affect the dynamics of the whole vehicle, so the battery will automatically start the self-heating function. In the morning, the battery temperature is low, the vehicle electric retardation is weak, the driver brakes to slow down or stop, need to step on the brake pedal according to the needs of the appropriate deep, at the same time, the electric retardation is weak, resulting in a reduction of braking energy recovery and the battery self-heating consumes the battery's own power will cause the whole vehicle to increase energy consumption and reduce the driving range. As the battery self-heating is turned on, the battery temperature rises and the braking energy recovery returns to normal.

    3. In order to better protect the battery and prolong its service life, when charging at low temperature, the allowable charging current of the battery becomes smaller, and part of the current is used for the battery self-heating, which leads to an extension of the overall charging time.

    4. After the ambient temperature is lowered, the yellow indicator light showing AIRDRYER will often appear on the combination meter, and the legend text is [AIR DIYER], which is the indicator light of the dryer heating work. It is to heat the compressed air in the air circuit, which is a normal phenomenon.

    Precautions for use:

    1. After the ambient temperature is lowered, please install the movable sealing plate of the battery compartment door in time before traveling to insulate the battery and reduce the heat dissipation, avoiding the battery temperature drop significantly resulting in the prolongation of charging time and the increase of power consumption.

    2. Charging operation: a. To improve the charging efficiency, please charge the battery in time after the vehicle is finished using. At this time, the temperature of the battery is suitable and the charging will be faster. Charging after the vehicle has been parked for a long time will cause the charging time to be prolonged. b. Place the charger indoors as much as possible, and when charging, check whether there is any condensation on the tip of the charging gun and whether it is dry to ensure safety.

    3. When vehicle is traveling in rainy days, in order to ensure driving safety, please control the speed and keep a safe distance between the vehicle. Do not accelerate, decelerate or turn sharply.

    4. To ensure the defroster effect, the electric defroster generally has higher electric power, and will consume more lithium battery energy when it works. So pure electric vehicles equipped with electric defroster should avoid turning on the electric defroster as a heating purpose when the temperature drops, and this operation will affect the driving range. The electric defroster with external air inlet should prevent the external air inlet filter from dumping mud or water, and needs to be checked regularly before driving to avoid blockage of the air inlet of the electric defroster, which may cause damage to the electric defroster.

    5. According to the outdoor temperature, you need to determine whether the vehicle is stored in the garage or outdoors, so that the battery is kept in the appropriate temperature range.

    6. If the vehicle needs to be stored for a long time, please keep the power SOC between 40%-70% before storing, and do the power battery equalization maintenance once every 3 months and before operation to improve the battery life.

    7. In advance of entering the low-temperature areas, pure electric vehicles live in the morning since the next start before the need to preheat the power system, so that the viscosity of the steering fluid is reduced, the steering power to quickly return to normal. Preheating program: before starting the car must require electric steering work for a period of time, the specific length of time according to the actual situation, generally about 20 minutes, in the preheating process need to cooperate with the steering wheel.

    1. To avoid personal injury, do not disassemble the power cell without high voltage training;

    2. Do not touch or operate the power battery without appropriate protective equipment;

    3. Before operation, please power down the vehicle to “OFF” state, close the low voltage hand brake switch, and disconnect the MSD of the whole vehicle, and do not carry out other operations within 15min; 

    4. The orange wiring harness in the cabin is a high-voltage wiring harness, so do not touch it without discharging it and wearing insulated work clothes; 

    5. Disconnect the high-voltage electrical appliances and high-voltage wiring harnesses during all maintenance operations; 

    6. Do not carry out other operations within 15min of disconnecting the high voltage; 

    7. Make insulation and sealing for the plug connector of the disassembled and disconnected high-voltage electrical appliances to avoid the entry of sundries; 

    8. Harness connectors should be kept dry, such as inadvertently coolant, oil splashed into the high-voltage wiring harness or electrical appliances, should be cleaned and blown dry with compressed air. Use megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of high-voltage electrical appliances or wiring harness, if it meets the standard please have it installed;

     9. During disassembly, please pay attention to the high-voltage warning signs affixed on the power battery and vehicle; 

    10. During disassembly, please pay attention to the protection of the power battery; 

    11. Prohibit violent disassembly, dropping, collision, stepping on the power battery pack; 

    12. Prohibit puncture, extrusion, high temperature shelving or baking of the power battery pack.

    Remarks: Power battery maintenance requires professional operation, please consult your local service manager, and refer to the product maintenance manual for the rest items.
